Hello readers! I would like to introduce you all to my blog , this is also my first post. The drawings explain the fashion industry's relationship with their consumers. We were supposed to unleash our creativity onto these posters. Yes , these were all hand drawn/painted by me.
The most important painting I wanted to speak out about , was the 'We've got one black girl , we don't need you anymore' one. The painting itself already says a lot , you might be thinking.. 'isn't this racist?' , yes it is. But it also represents the modelling industry , this happens all the time , in every casting. Just because your skin color isn't what they want , it doesn't have to affect you. Society expects you to be 'perfect' and all that , but that doesn't mean you have to follow all of the standards.
THERE IS ONLY ONE YOU IN THE WORLD SO DON'T LET SOCIETY RUIN IT FOR YOU!
Congrats !You've gotten to the bottom of the page ,give yourself a darn pat on the back!
Mony signing out , and will be back real soon c:
