Hello readers , I'm back with another post. For my third post , I'll be explaining the statement pieces. The photo on the right is a picture of an Apsara , from a short musical. The show consists of traditional Khmer dancing and singing , at the same time. Musicals are a form of art , that we Cambodians use to express ourselves.
The painting on the left is done by water color , if you cannot tell what it is , it's a face , with lots of colors. It is pretty colorful because I wanted to show that art has become more diverse than ever , people from different race , ethnic , sexual orientation , have come together to create beautiful masterpieces.
At the bottom it says 'Voice has no gender' which is a pretty important message I wanted to put out. It means that anyone can have speak , no matter what gender. The Khmer typography at the bottom , translated to English , means art. I did want to include that this was done by a Khmer person , and represent my own country a little.
Lastly , I have a zoomed in photo , of some of my favorite German words , and a little poem , translated into English as well. The word 'zweisamkeit' captures my heart the most , who knew German could be such a beautiful language? As for the birds , it's a color scheme of some of my favorite colors.
Congrats !You've gotten to the bottom of the page ,give yourself a darn pat on the back!
Mony signing out , and will be back real soon c:
